Our Story

Shirt Studio was created in March 2004 by husband and wife – Anoop and Fiona Anchal. The idea originated from Italy where the shirting stores are lined from floor to ceiling with an incredible range of business and casual shirts. Our idea was to recreate the concept for men and women with retail outlets and an online store providing a wider audience with access to divine, high quality shirts. Our first boutique opened in Tattersall’s Arcade, Brisbane, offering an extensive range of business shirts for men and women. What followed were another two Brisbane boutiques, a Melbourne boutique and international on-line store. Shirt Studio has become well known for its quality and its unique designs and vibrant colours.

All our shirts have been created to the highest standards, keeping to the style and quality of a typical Italian ‘camiceria’ and embodying the art of quality shirt-making. Made from the finest-quality two-ply Italian cotton, Shirt Studio’s shirts are fashionable, comfortable and suitable for any occasion from a day in the office to the weekend.
