Inspirations for our Spring Shirting Range for Men and Women

Blog by Head Designer, Fiona Anchal’s design inspiration.
When developing Shirt Studio’s Spring Summer 2010 collection I was inspired by my childhood and vividly remembered the vibrant colours of the 80s - Miami Vice hot pink, Raspberry Beret, neon orange, pink and green and powder white.
I have fond memories of spending hours in the garden surrounded by lush fluorescent green grass and colourful flowers blooming. I wanted to bring the memories and divine feelings of the 80s back but with a modern, sophisticated twist. And from that inspiration the new shirt range for men and women was born comprising of plain nose-powder white and blue shirts with a dynamic colour stripe positioned down the front of the shirt to provide the main focal point of the piece.
With the balmy weather approaching the cotton chosen for this collection was sourced from Italy’s finest mill with the warmer weather in mind. The white and blue fabric chosen for this range is super fine cotton with a smooth finish creating a garment light on the skin and breathable.
The new collection provides the best of both worlds – style, colour and comfort, and ease of wear.
